hello, nice to see you here.
I’m Naz.
I’m a brand strategist, creative director, children’s book author, yoga teacher, radio programmer, dog-lover, amateur tour guide & travel planner, book hoarder, and aspiring amateur chef, among some other things.
A native of Ankara, Turkey, I attended the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a dual degree — a BA in Sociology and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School. (Loved all of my liberal arts classes; accounting, not so much.)
From 2015–2017, I served as Cultural Programming & Membership Manager at NeueHouse, curating and producing events around film, gastronomy, literature, and science, as well as building the membership base and managing member experience. In early 2017, I joined Mana Contemporary to help manage artist relationships and strengthen the artist community through content and programming, and joined SUITED Magazine the same year, initially as a writer, then as Contributing Editor. While in New York, I also (re)discovered my love of yoga, completing a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Sky Ting and teaching there weekly for several years.
In the summer of 2018, I moved to Istanbul, working as a freelance brand, content, and creative strategist for brands across Europe and the US. In 2020, I co-founded the DTC menstrual hygiene company beije, starting in the earliest days of the pandemic and growing into a team of over 25, becoming one of the most vocal and best-loved brands in Turkey on the taboo topics of menstruation and gender.
I left beije at the end of June '23, and have since worked with brands including META Foundation, Istanbul-based Siedrés, and Lisbon-based Harvest Series, among others. In 2026, I decided to move to Paris, where I'll be based from September '26. In the meantime, I've returned to Una Studio as my primary practice, working independently with hospitality, cultural, and lifestyle brands on brand strategy, creative direction, and narrative systems.
