hello, nice to see you here.
I’m Naz.
A native of (Ankara,) Turkey, I attended the University of Pennsylvania, and graduated with a dual degree of BA in Sociology and BS in Economics from the Wharton School. (Loved all of my liberal arts classes; accounting, not so much.)
From 2015-2017, I served as Cultural Programming & Membership Manager at NeueHouse, curating and producing events around film, gastronomy, literature, and science; as well as building the membership base and managing member experience. In early 2017, I joined Mana Contemporary to help manage artist relationships and strengthen the artist community through content and programming. I joined SUITED Magazine the same year; initially as a writer, then as Contributing Editor.
While in New York, I (re)discovered my love of yoga and completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Sky Ting Yoga, partook in a five-month mentorship program, multiple advanced trainings and taught weekly at Sky Ting.
In the summer of 2018, I moved to Istanbul, initially working as a freelance brand, content, and creative strategist for various brands across Europe and in the US. In 2020, I co-founded a DTC menstrual hygiene product company called beije. It was a wild ride that started out in the initial days of the pandemic, that eventually grew into a team of over 25. We became an outspoken, vocal brand in Turkey surrounding the topics of menstruation (still a major taboo in Turkey) and gender issues. Ultimately, we became one of the top lovemarks in Turkey, which has been an incredible journey to partake in.
I left my post at beije at the end of June ‘23 and have since been working with clients such as the META Foundation in New York City and the Istanbul-based fashion label Siedrés, among others.

questions, answers, and THE stories that connect the two, offered by una studıo
I love:
asking “what if” and “why”",
trying and failing and retrying new things on uncharted territories,
piecing the puzzle (the more pieces, the better),
figuring out a better, more unique, more authentic way of doing or saying something,
telling the story (all senses at play here).
a few things these might translate to (among others):
brand strategy
content strategy & development
editorial & features writing
